Frank McFadden has often been described as one of Scotland most talented, exciting and controversial young artists. His career moved forward dramatically around 10 years ago when a chance meeting with Peter Howson in a Glasgow café resulted in McFadden sharing his studio and very quickly enjoying the success of joint exhibitions with his famous mentor. Howson’s view of McFadden at the time was “The best artist I’ve come across in the last 10 years”. It didn’t take long for McFadden to quickly become a leading light on the Scottish art scene and he was soon exhibiting in Glasgow, London and New York and developing an enviable list of celebrity clients amongst his followers. McFadden is once again producing new work which is very quickly gaining huge interest and is already planning a major exhibition in the near future.
