Scotland Artists were delighted to receive many customers and artists to the gallery at the end of November. It was a joint celebration as not only was Christmas just around the corner but it was also Scotland Artists first anniversary. Since opening in Bothwell in November 2013 the gallery has enjoyed great success, consistently exhibiting the best of Scottish contemporary art and attracting customers from across Scotland. It was a great night that went on to the early hours as customers showed their support for what has become a great destination for Scottish Art Buyers.
Some of our customers enjoyed a glass of wine with one of our most popular artists, Scott Naismith.
Andrew Hay took time out of his schedule and visited the gallery at the end of October. Andrew is currently planning a major exhibition which will commence in April 2015 and Scotland Artists are delighted to have some of his work in the gallery for viewing. Andrew commented, "I am really pleased to have my work in Scotland Artists. The gallery in Bothwell is very enthusiastic about my work and it has already received a lot of interest."
Scotland Artists commented, "Andrew's striking style has certainly become a bit of a talking point amongst our customers. His work is usually only available for viewing in major venues such as The Kelvingrove and The Gallery of Modern Art so to have his work for sale here in Bothwell is very exciting for the gallery.

There was a big night recently in Bothwell when Scottish acting legend John Cairney delivered a talk to a packed gallery. John is also a notable artist and had several examples of his work in the gallery which he used as the backdrop for his talk. Scotland Artists commented “This was a truly fantastic night in Bothwell. John is an immensely popular figure in Scotland and we were overwhelmed at the turnout we had on the night.” John also signed copies of his book, “Glasgow, by the way but” and “Heroes are Forever”
